I came here for Sunday Jazz brunch buffett. Food - some items were a hit. Some were a miss. Nothing bad. I was expecting more selections since it was a buffet. My fav was the roast rib eye and red beans and rice. Service - very good. No complaints. Ambiance - it was hot and humid outside so I sat inside. The AC was nice and cool. Linen table covers and live jazz band playing. Good for the experience.

We visited for the jazz brunch and were glad for that decision. It's hard to find a place in New Orleans that can accommodate both a vegetarian (who does eat eggs) and an avid carnivore but this did it for us. The buffet was plentiful and the staff was frequently cleaning and refilling as trays emptied. Our server Merlin was kind and attentive along with another gentleman who kept our waters topped off all morning. The omelette station was efficient, there was a large variety of foods to choose from and it was nice to be able to try some Cajun dishes without committing to a full meal. The atmosphere was beautiful with the treetop canopy over the courtyard outside and the jazz band sounded great. Highly recommend this wonderful brunch spot!

Wow! This place was great! Perfect ambiance. We wanted to sit out in the courtyard but due to the weather we couldn't. Our waitress was the absolute best! She was very friendly and personable. I ordered the French 75 to drink. It is a classic. It's made with gin, sweet and sour, simple syrup, and brut champagne. It is served chilled. So delicious and light! For my meal, I ordered the Veal Oscar, which is pan fried baby white veal cutlets, new potato mash, steamed asparagus, jumbo lump crabmeat, and Tasso hollandaise. This was incredible! So much flavor! It was exactly what I wanted and expected. For my dessert, I ordered the Bananas Foster. It is flambéed table-side with brandy and banana liqueur. It is served with vanilla ice cream. Fantastic! Would definitely go back and recommend!

While I didn't get the chance to eat here, I was able to squeeze in a quick Kir Royale at the carriage bar. Delicious! This place has so much ambience and history- worth coming in just for a peek.

One of my favorite spots during my trip to New Orleans. I made reservations for two well in advance, but I think I could have walked right in. It was noon on a Wednesday. It was an all you can eat buffet that covered all the New Orleans essentials! And every taste I had was better than the last, my goal was to try ALL the things. Etouffe, jambalaya, local cornbread, bananas foster, mimosas of course. It was all SO good. The patio too was magnificent; there are fans and ample trees and even on a hot day it was quite comfortable to sit outside. Service is great, live music was great, food was magnificent and I can't wait to go back again.
